As emphasized in the company's statement, Interpipe's patriotic stance has always been an irritant for Russia. Thus, back in 2019, the Russian Federation imposed an embargo on the company's products and put its management on sanctions lists.

"Under no circumstances and in no format will Interpipe operate in the Russian market. A series of publications in biased and unscrupulous media on this topic are unreliable and initiated by unfair competitors to damage the company's business reputation as a leading national producer of steel pipes and railway products," the company said.

The company also emphasized that it has been helping to maintain the country's economic stability since the beginning of the full-scale aggression of the Russian Federation: "Our plants, especially in Nikopol, are operating under constant artillery shelling by the Russians. The company consistently pays salaries to all employees. Interpipe provides systematic assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, medics and civilians. Currently, almost 1,000 of our employees serve in the Armed Forces and Territorial Defense."

Interpipe is a Ukrainian industrial company, a manufacturer of steel pipes and railway products. The company's products are exported to more than 80 countries. Interpipe employs 10 thousand people. In 2022, the company transferred UAH 2.8 billion to the budgets of all levels.
